Flooring calculator questions
How does the calculator know how much a box covers?
You tell it once. Coverage is a number on the calculator, for example 22.5 square feet per box, and you can change it any time. If your products come in different box sizes, give each group its own calculator.
Can I add a waste allowance?
Yes. Set a percentage for cuts and breakage and it is added before the calculator rounds up to whole boxes.
Does the price match checkout?
The price always comes from your own product price in Shopify, so the total a shopper sees on the page is exactly what they pay at checkout. Change your price in Shopify and the calculator follows.
Can shoppers measure in metres instead of feet?
Yes. You choose the unit when you set up the calculator, so a store selling in square metres shows square metres throughout.
Will it work with my theme?
Yes, on any current Shopify theme that supports app blocks (every Online Store 2.0 theme, including Dawn). You add the calculator to your product page from the theme editor, with no code to paste in.
What does it cost?
